Ariana Greenblatt gushed about the moment her idol Michael Cera walked onto the ‘Barbie’ set.
The 15-year-old actress plays the role of Sasha in the film alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling and couldn’t believe she was also collaborating on the project with her idol Michael Cera, who plays Allan.
The star told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview: “I didn’t know he was in the movie. Nobody talked about being there. I was like, ‘Is that real?’ I love him more than anyone on set who loves him. I watched ‘Superbad’ in my trailer for lunch for a week just to get through it.” Ariana shares several scenes with Michael in the film and they ended up becoming friends, playing Wordle together regularly . Cera previously announced that he was delighted with the ‘Barbie’ sets that director Greta Gerwig and the production team had created. The star revealed to ‘GQ’: “It was breathtaking to see. It was full of attention to detail. Every single little element, even if you would never see it on camera, was perfect and led you into this world.”
