Actress Annie Wershing, known to viewers for her role as FBI agent Renee Walker in the series “24” and who voiced Tess in the video game “The Last Survivors”, died at the age of 45, the world’s news agencies reported.
She died Sunday morning in Los Angeles due to cancer.
Neil Druckmann, who created The Last Stand, wrote on Twitter: “We have lost a beautiful actress. My heart is broken. My thoughts are with her loved ones“.
Abigail Spencer, who starred alongside Wershin in Timeless, also posted a tribute to her co-star.
Annie Wershing was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She has appeared in dozens of television productions over two decades.
The first role that brought her recognition was in “Star Trek: Enterprise”. Wershing also participated in “Star Trek: Picard”, recalls BTA.
The star was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 but continued to work.
Annie Wershing is married to actor Stephen Full with whom she has three sons.
