Downhill
Unfortunately, after her success, things went downhill quickly, as we often see with young Hollywood stars. She had frequent run-ins with the law, became addicted to drugs and was admitted to a psychiatric institution. Due to her mental problems, she behaved strangely and shaved half of her head. According to the documentary “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV”, the derailed behavior is said to be due to sexual abuse when she was thirteen, which took place on the set of Nickelodeon.
The former Hollywood star has been trying to get her life back on track for a while now, but has also undergone a number of changes to her appearance, making her more or less unrecognizable. She also recently changed her name on TikTok, which probably means we should officially conclude that “Amanda Bynes” no longer exists. Her new name: Midge Gardner.
