On Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the seminar will be held at the Teatro Municipal La Comedia Intensive acting training, dictated by the Rosario actor Luis Machín. The course, which has limited seats, is aimed at people with acting experience and between the ages of 21 and 55. The day before the training, on Friday, August 16 at 9:00 p.m., Machín will perform at the municipal theater with the play the sea at night, which has him as the protagonist. The work has the direction of Guillermo Cacace and the dramaturgy of Santiago Loza.
As for the seminar, it takes place within the framework of La Comedia en course, a municipal theater training program that seeks to provide tools for the continuous professionalization of the performing arts sector. It includes courses and seminars that will take place throughout the year.
In the proposal led by Machin, they will work with the participants’ own tools, generating a practice space that allows them to strengthen their own resources in an acting poetics that makes them explore the different territories where theatrical, cinematographic and television. The teacher will send, prior to the meeting, scenes that must be memorized by the participants.
The cost of the seminar is $4,000 for those who take it in workshop mode and $2,500 for those who do it as listeners. Those who wish to register must send a brief resume with data on training carried out and experience in acting to the mail [email protected]. Applications will be received until Wednesday, August 31. The final selection of the participants will be in charge of the teacher.
