New “crime scene” Frankfurt on September 29th: The filming locations

While the other Hessian “crime scene” team led by Ulrich Tukur travels across the state, the Frankfurt investigator duo remains loyal to the Main metropolis. “It’s so green when Frankfurt’s mountains are in bloom” was also filmed here. Filming ran from November 8th to December 19th last year. But it also went back to the gates of the city, something like this Langen in the Offenbach district.

The police station offers a small curiosity that will probably remain hidden from most viewers of the “crime scene” in Frankfurt. Anna Jannecke and Paul Brix’s workplace had to move: it was initially set up in the Neckermann building in Frankfurt. However, it was later rented out as a whole, making filming impossible. The investigative duo’s offices were recreated in Studio 1 of the Hessischer Rundfunk. In “It’s so green when Frankfurt’s mountains are in bloom” you shouldn’t notice any of this. And where the new investigators will be based in the “crime scene” Frankfurt after the end of the Broich-Koch era is still up in the air anyway.
