Screenwriters are demanding higher salaries and a bigger share of streaming profits. The pens of Hollywood are also protesting against the tendency of studios to reduce their teams and hire them for shorter terms. Finally, they are calling for safeguards against the use of artificial intelligence, which could be used by studios to generate scripts.
