Actor Vojta Kotek became a father. He shared the good news on a social network. The boy has a very unusual name.
The actor is very protective of his privacy. So it was a big surprise to everyone when he shared on Friday that he and his wife Radana had become parents. “He’s here with us. Welcome, baby. We love you,” Kotek wrote to the baby photo on Instagram.
Vojta and his wife have long thought about choosing a name for the baby. And in the end they chose a really unconventional one. The boy’s name is Hubert I. Šman Kotek.
“I’ve always joked with my friends that if I have a child, I’d like him to be called Jesus. It sounds ambitious, but if you add the surname to it, it becomes a joke,” said Kotek. First news from CNN.
The actor was thus referring to the exclamation of “Jesus”. Even before his birth, Vojta had clear his name. “Most likely, since I have Jewish ancestry, his name should be Shman. And we started calling him that for fun. And I’m afraid he will continue to do so. He probably won’t thank us at all,” Kotek said. And the baby’s name really got stuck.
