Actor Vikram reveals why he turned down Blesi film Adu Jivettu in Tamil Nadu – Kerala connection to Gulf explained

Actor Vikram explains the reason for leaving Blesi film Adu Jivettu. Prithviraj Najibhai’s film is getting good response in the theaters and the actor’s old interview is going viral on social media. In an interview to a television channel, the actor said that the setting of the novel will not work in Tamil Nadu and Kerala has a good connection with the Gulf. The actor added that the making of Tamil and Malayalam films is different.

‘Blessy sir had approached me to do Adu Jivet Adu Jivet in Tamil. But the story background of that novel is more connected with Kerala. Tamil Nadu audience will not understand going to Gulf for work. But Kerala has a good relationship with the Gulf. Many people think of the connection with Kerala when they hear the word Gulf. That chemistry will not work in Tamil’- said Vikram.

Tamil cinema and Malayalam cinema are very different in terms of making. There is no reward here. There is a limitation here in doing commercial films. Not only that, I haven’t got any script from Malayalam that surprises the actor in me’ – added Vikram.

After 16 years of efforts, Blesi movie Aadujeetvam has hit the theaters. Aadujeewat, which hit pan India release on March 28, has been getting a good response. Prithvi’s performance as Najeeb is garnering applause. Amala Paul is the heroine of the film. 50 crores at the global box office and the film continues to run.
