Actor Treat Williams Dies in Motorcycle Accident: A Tribute to His Life and Career

The actor Treat Williamsknown for playing doctor Andy Brown in the series Everwooddied this Monday in a motorcycle accident. This was confirmed by the family of the American artist to the specialized media Deadline.


Williams, d 71 years, he had an accident with his motorcycle in Vermont. Local authorities reported that around 5:00 p.m. yesterday the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle and he died from the impact.

“As you can imagine, andWe are shocked and gravely distressed at this time.. Treat deeply loved his family, his life and his job,” his relatives said.

Who was Treat Williams?

Williams began his film career in 1975 with his first film, Deadly Hero.

Four years later, in 1979, he reached one of his peak moments when he played George Berger in the film Hairof Milos Forman. That role earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

In 1981 he would get another nomination for best actor for his performance in Prince of the City.

However, most of the public will remember him as the charismatic doctor Andy Brown in Everwoodthe Warner Bross series that aired during four seasons between 2002 and 2006. For his work in that program received two SAG Award nominations.

In addition, he participated in other successful series such as Heart of Dixie, Blue Bloods, The Late Shift, Chicago Fire or Chesapeake Shores.
