Actor Tomáš Kolomazník died – Novinky.cz

“We are deeply saddened to announce that actor Tomáš Kolomazník has died after a long and serious illness, he was 44 years old,” said the theater.

After graduating in acting at the Prague Conservatory, Kolomazník worked at the East Bohemian Theater in Pardubice, and then at Cheb. There he played Cyran of Bergerac or also in the production of The Hitler’s Home by Arnošt Goldflam, in Shakespeare’s play Much Ado About Nothing, in Chekhov’s Three Sisters and many other plays.

In 2015 he had to leave the ensemble due to long-term health problems, but even then he collaborated with the Cheb theater as a guest.

He occasionally appeared in series such as Rapl, Mordpart and Life at the Castle. He did not have many roles in the film, in 1997 he starred in the television film The King’s Jester and in 2014 in The Fairy Tale. In 2003, he appeared in the German film Das siebte Foto.
