Thrissur: Actor and former MP Suresh Gopi presented a golden crown to the Mother at Lourdes Church in Thrissur. Suresh Gopi, who had visited the temple last month, had promised to present the gold crown as an offering. Suresh Gopi came with his wife Radhika and children including Bhagya.
Suresh Gopi said that he presented the golden crown before his daughter’s marriage. The crown was made by Anandan Achari, a native of Parumala, in 17 days out of five pavans of gold. Suresh Gopi and his family reached the Lourdes Church at ten o’clock yesterday morning. Suresh Gopi and his family were received by the church vicar Fr Davis Pulikottil and other officials. Shilpi and BJP district president KK Anishkumar and others attended the dedication ceremony. Suresh Gopi’s daughter Bhagya will get married in Guruvayur temple tomorrow. The groom is businessman Shreyas Mohan.
