American actor Richard Belzer has died at the age of 78. This was announced by his manager. Belzer died peacefully at his home in France on Sunday. His wife and stepdaughter are said to have been by his side.
Belzer is best known for his role in the series “Law & Order”. He embodied the character of detective John Munch in over 300 episodes.
As early as the 1970s, Richard Belzer acted as a comedian in the sketch show “Saturday Nightlife”. He also acted in various films.
