The actor, who appeared in countless famous films and series (and was a guest at the Prague Comic-Con in 2021), died in Italy.
At just 58, Ray Stevenson left us. The native of the Northern Irish town of Lisburn was filming the action film Cassino on Ischia in Italy and at this moment we know that he was hospitalized for unknown reasons during his stay and subsequently died.
We’ll probably know more soon, not that it matters. What is important is that a very popular and frequently cast actor, whose career literally overflows with famous films and series, has left us. Stevenson broke through with the phenomenal Rome and also appeared in the series Dexter, Under the Black Flag, Medici or Vikings. On the big screen, he was not overlooked in King Arthur, The Punisher, The Three Musketeers, Thor and many, many other big and small films.

In 2021, Stevenson was a guest at the Prague Comic-Con, and a few weeks ago he stopped by Star Wars Celebration, where he promoted the new series Ahsoka, in which he got the role of the main villain. Together with the historical film 1242: Gateway to the West, it will be his farewell to a rich career that will be remembered for a long time.
