A tragic incident has rocked the entertainment industry as a 22-year-old actor, Saint Von Colucci, passed away due to complications from his most recent cosmetic surgery. The young actor had undergone 12 surgeries in the span of one year to resemble the popular BTS singer Jimin. He spent a staggering $220,000 on surgeries such as a facelift, nose job, eye lift, eyebrow lift, and lip reduction, among others. His publicist, Eric Blake, revealed that his client’s insecurity about his looks led him to go under the knife multiple times.
Van Colucci moved from Canada to South Korea in 2019 to pursue a career in entertainment, but he struggled to find work due to his Western looks. He even went as far as filming an eight-episode Korean drama, “Pretty Lies,” where he played Jimin. However, in June 2022, he underwent jaw implant surgery that later became infected, leading to his untimely death. His publicist remarked that his client was “very insecure” about his “very square jawline and chin” and wanted to look more like Jimin, whom he admired.
This news serves as a grim reminder of the dangers of cosmetic surgery and the impact of unrealistic beauty standards on individuals.
