Actor Nicolás Brown explained why he is not in the soap operas

Nicolás Brown is one of the actors who has a relevant career in the world of television seriesa genre from which it has been absent in recent years.

Remembered for his characters in productions such as Hidden Truths, Rebel Heart, Iceberg, Looking for Mary y Franklin’s Queenthe interpreter has gained a solid path in the dramatic areas.

However, Nicolás Brown’s last participation was a small appearance in the television series Mega, Paradise Island (2019), where he played a priest.

Since then, the actor has developed a new facet as a content creator, where on his social networks he shares funny videos where he plays various characters of his authorship.

But that’s not all, since we will soon be able to see them in the kitchens of Top Chef VIP, the Chilevisión culinary program that will premiere next week.

In conversation with Página 7, during the launch of the kitchen space, the actor gave details of why he has not participated in any dramatic area.

“After Paradise Island, They have called me again to get into soap operas, but I haven’t been able to for a while. However, the last two years they have not called me,” said Nicolás Brown.

And he added: “It is not something I need right now, because I have my own channel which is my Instagram, my TikTok, where I make my characters and for which I am very grateful.”

Of course, the actor assured that “It is difficult anyway, because we have only one dramatic area in Chile, and the actors, which I think are great, rotate between soap operas.”

Finally, Nicolás Brown called for the different signals to dare to make new content from national productions.

“I hope they open the dramatic areas of the other channels, so that there is more work for everyone,” he said.

And he closed: “I am very grateful because I have a job, but I know of many colleagues who are having a hard time and it is quite worrying, But I’m fine.”
