Droste received many positive reactions to the image and then suddenly that email from Atkins. At first she thought someone was fooling her. “But my daughter looked up the real Christopher Atkins on Instagram and asked if he had emailed. He replied, yes, I really am.”
Atkins praised the photo shoot, Droste says. “He said: ‘you have so beautifully portrayed what we wanted to say with that film. I just feel it all over again.’ Really American. “Amazing, you’re great. “Atkins said she also sent her photo to director Randal Kleiser.
Droste is thrilled with the reaction of the actor, who she used to love, she said against RTV Oost. She is hopeful to meet him again in real life.
“He says that he sometimes comes to the Netherlands and would like to meet me. I think that would be really nice. I will certainly photograph him.”
