Córdoba, Ver., October 11, 2024.- The renowned actor Luis Rábago met with the media at the Coffee Museum to talk about his participation in the 14th Emilio Carballido Festival, which is taking place in the city of Córdoba.
Accompanied by Luis Rivera, from the National Theater Company, and Héctor Herrera, director of the festival, Rábago shared details about the two plays that will be presented this weekend at the Pedro Díaz Theater.
On Saturday, at 7:00 p.m., “And we were heroes” will be presented, a play that tells the story of two children who, after meeting at school, develop a friendship that helps them face problems such as domestic violence and social backwardness.
On Sunday, at 6:00 p.m., it will be the turn of “Baño de Uñas”, a work that explores the relationship between two adult couples and a mysterious message that arrives in the form of a box with nails.
Luis Rivera, originally from Córdoba, expressed his gratitude for bringing these productions to his hometown. “It has been a great opportunity to be able to share our work in Córdoba,” he commented.
For his part, Luis Rábago, member of the National Institute of Fine Arts and the Ministry of Culture, spoke about the National Theater Company, highlighting that it has a cast of more than 50 actors, of which 22 participate in these two works.
The actor thanked the people of Córdoba for their hospitality and applauded the creation of festivals like this one, which promote the performing arts and motivate young people to venture into theater and culture.
