On the 13th, a post titled ‘Thank you, actor Kim Sang-kyung’ was posted on an online community. Mr. A, who wrote the article, introduced himself as an ordinary family man in his 40s living in Cheongju and told a story about his father-in-law who passed away last year.
Mr. A said, “My father-in-law worked as a security guard at a townhouse in Yongin City for about 10 years.” He added, “My father occasionally praised the character of the talent who lived there and said he felt a lot of warm consideration from the residents. “I just listened to it a few times,” he explained.
Mr. A said that his father-in-law was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and had to quit his job as a security guard. “Of course, it may have been natural because he was sick, but my father apologized several times, saying that he felt like he had not completed the work properly.”
Mr. A said, “When that time was not that long, the residents helped my father by asking him to contribute to the medical expenses. At first, someone sent a huge sum of 1 million won. My family was very surprised and embarrassed. Isn’t 1 million won a huge amount of money? But there were not just one or two people like that.
