The cause of death of actor Julian Sands remains unknown. The actor’s body was found in the mountains of California a month ago after he had been missing for months.
According to the Hollywood Reporter the condition of his body makes it impossible to determine the cause of death. The San Bernardino County Police leaves the website know that that is “usual in cases like this”.
The British actor did not return in January after a hike in the Baldy Bowl area, a popular ski resort also popular with climbers, hikers and backpackers. A search was launched immediately after his disappearance, which continued throughout the spring.
Sands (65) starred in several Oscar-nominated films in the 1980s and 1990s, such as A room with a view (1985) in Leaving Las Vegas (1995). In the television series 24 he could be seen as a Russian terrorist leader. In 2019, Sands starred in the Netflix series What/If. In his 40-year career, he has contributed to more than 150 films and series.
