Morelia, Michoacán.-José Manuel Rincón, actor who gained wide popularity for “Monarca”, the series produced by Salma Hayek for Netflix, arrived in the Michoacán capital for the II Morelia International Book and Reading Fair.
The reason was his participation in “I read… therefore I exist”, the program of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL), with which he read aloud some stories from “Confabulario” by the Mexican writer, actor and editor, Juan José. Arreola Zúñiga.
Before going on stage located in the Andador Benito Juárez, the actor received El Sol de Morelia in the dressing rooms to share his special taste for reading, which he shares through his Instagram, a social network where he makes various recommendations for his more than 242 thousand followers.
With the program ‘Leo… therefore I exist’, we have done some dates in CDMX, State of Mexico and we ended in Morelia this year. Statistically speaking, we have low numbers in reading and if I can encourage it, all the better!
As a member of a new breed of actors, he accepted that the formality with which books are sometimes identified should be removed, especially to attract the youth sector.
In his case, he explained, since he was a child he has liked to read, and letters have planted different habits and favorable aspects in his life, which combines with his taste for exercise that he also shows on his social accounts.
Ending up being an example of something positive is wonderful. I believe that we can do things that fulfill us and leave us positive things, plus having our head busy will always keep us away from bad habits.
Regarding the sudden cancellation of the series “Monarca”, he regretted that it could not continue on Netflix and its sudden cancellation would only allow the public to see up to the second season.
She left me with many things, to start working on such high quality standards, I felt lucky to have a character in this project and for having met Salma, I take my passion from her.
Salma Hayek was precisely the first world figure to feature at the first edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) in 2003, and José Manuel Rincón left ajar the possibility of seeing her walk down a red carpet at the cinematographic meeting that is coming this year. to its 21st edition.
Despite the sudden cancellation of said series, its return to Netflix is about to be released on October 11, with another series called “Pact of Silence.”
In this project he will share credits with Camila Valero, Kika Edgar, Adriana Louvier, Marimar Vega Litzy, Martín Barba, Rodolfo Salas and Chantal Andere.
It is a series with a lot of melodrama but with suspense and mystery that will be present in all the chapters. Broadly speaking, the story develops to find out who the mother of the protagonist who is an influencer is, on that journey my character appears who will help her reach the truth she is looking for.
Finally, José Manuel Rincón commented, he is not related to Joan Sebastian, as has been commented on social networks, “I don’t know where that idea came from and no, I don’t know anyone from that family,” he concluded.
