Flemish actor and director Jos Van Gorp has passed away. He had just turned 82. Van Gorp mainly became known for roles in ‘Familie’, ‘De kotmadam’ and ‘Ons lucky’.

According to his obituary, Van Gorp fell asleep at home in Ekeren on March 12, three days after his 82nd birthday. He is survived by his life partner Lee Preedy and two sons Jan and Mark. In recent years he has mainly played guest roles in various Flemish TV series. He played Flor, Jos and the chairman of the billiard club De kotdam and Count Ghislain de Rixart de Waremme family. Also in Aspe, Girls of the White, Stille Waters, Cops in Urgent he surfaced. In addition, he also contributed to, among others Wittekerke in RIP.
The cause of death is unknown. The message also states that he donated his body to science.
