Jiří Krampol was upset by rumors that he should go to a home for the elderly. In the meantime, he plans to stay in his apartment and has two films to shoot. However, he discussed that if worst came to worst, he would consider a nursing home.
At the age of 85, actor Jiří Krampol does not even want to hear about a home for the elderly. “I don’t know who came up with this bullshit. Why would I go to a retirement home because my leg hurts? They’re asking me that I have lung cancer and that I’m going to a retirement home. I have two movies ahead of me.” Krampol told TN.cz.
But in extreme cases, he would go to a home for the elderly. However, if a major injury happened to him, he admitted that he probably wouldn’t be able to take it mentally. “I said that if necessary, I will go anywhere, but only when necessary. If I lost my leg, I would probably jump out of the window, but I’m not jumping yet.” the actor confided.
But it bothers him that there are rumors about him that he might move to a nursing home soon. “Who’s going to take my keys? Who’s going to move me out? How did they come up with this crap? Why would I go to a retirement home, I’m not really going there.” stated the actor to be fair.
In his case, he still sees no reason to move. “When someone is in trouble and can’t move, they probably have to go there, that’s understandable. But I broke it up. I’m not fine, but what’s so special about an 85-year-old guy having a problem with his leg and bronchial tubes. That there is nothing unbelievable,” Krampol described. “I’m just not going to any retirement home,” concluded.
