American actor Jeremy Renner says he broke more than thirty bones in his snowplow accident. That accident happened on New Year’s Day. He sustained injuries to, among other things his chest and legs.
In a post on Instagram the actor, who is known as Hawkeye in Marvel’s superhero films, among other things, expressed “much love and appreciation” for people who “messaged and were thoughtful” to him.
“These 30+ bones will heal and grow stronger,” he writes. He goes on to say that his “daily morning workouts and New Year’s resolutions have changed dramatically this year.”
He posted a photo of his rehabilitation process with the text. Renner previously said that he is rehabilitating in his home in the US state of Nevada.

The 52-year-old Renner hit badly injured at the accident. The actor had helped with his snowplow to free a snowbound vehicle belonging to a family member. He then got out, but because the machine started moving again Renner tried to get back into the driver’s seat. At that point, he was run over, police said.
The Hollywood actor is known for his role as archer Clint Barton (Hawkeye) in the Marvel superhero films. He also acted in two Mission: Impossiblemovies. Renner was nominated twice for an Oscar, for the films The Hurt Locker in The Town.
