The chairman of the PRO party, attorney Jindřich Rajchl, commented on the “Dušek and cancer” case in a stream on Facebook. Rajchl knows the Czech actor personally, Dušek simply says things as he feels them. In addition, he does not impose his opinions on anyone, the interview was only intended to stimulate discussion. Rajchl himself perceived Dušek’s words as inspiring. “Everyone has the right to their opinion,” he also emphasized. Rajchl supports the difference of opinions, without them the development of the company would not be possible. “We’d still ride horses,” he said.

During the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, an interview between moderator Čestmír Strakatý and actor Jaroslav Dušek took place, during which the actor got to thinking about the origin of cancer as a consequence of lifestyle. He explained everything exemplarily using the example of his mother and both of her parents, who were diagnosed. “You think that person will die of cancer. And I think he will die of hating life. That person doesn’t like life, he doesn’t like himself,” the actor claimed.

According to Rajchl, he knows Jaroslav Dušek personally. “I know Jarda Dušek personally, I know what kind of person he is. He simply says things the way he thinks, the way he feels,” said Rajchl and emphasized that he also knows that Dušek never imposes his words and opinions on anyone, unlike, for example, others. “He never imposed them on anyone. That’s the biggest difference,” Rajchl said, laughing at those who criticize Dušek, when they themselves wore dust protection on their mouths less than three years ago, hoping that it would save them from a viral infection. “They forced it on us. They forced it on us. Jaroslav Dušek does not impose anything on anyone,” he repeated.

“Everyone has the right to their opinion. The fact that psychosomatics is an extremely important thing, that the mind affects your body, that is absolutely beyond discussion, we don’t need to talk about it,” he said, saying that the fact that Dušek has his own opinion on the matter is his sacred right.

He also drew attention to the attacks he had to face on the Internet because of his opinion. “What an attack on someone going beyond their ideas, allowing themselves to have a different opinion than theirs. In what way must he be immediately destroyed, liquidated, disgraced. In what way does this whole incredible collection of people go out on it,” laughed Rajchl.

“Unfortunately, we are in a time when the social consensus is determined by pseudo-intellectuals who basically do not have deep knowledge. They only think so, but in reality they are absolutely stupid,” he said, adding that these people are just playing with their intelligence and flaunting “diplomas from dubious faculties” and even more radically trying to suppress different opinions and other ideas about the world. “And I simply refuse this,” Rajchl declared.

According to him, every person has the right to express even the most controversial opinion. “We’re not in a society where everyone has to think the same thing,” he added, adding that Dušek didn’t mean his statements as an insult.

“What Jára Dušek meant, as I know him, is that it is simply our lifestyle, which we determine for ourselves, which we ourselves can influence. And if we don’t want to influence it and we don’t want to make a change, then it will logically have an impact on our body as well,” the lawyer explained how he understands Dušek’s words.

In the interview, according to Rajchlo, the Czech actor only provided instructions for thinking about a healthy lifestyle and his perspective on it. “It’s a beautiful inspiration. He was supposed to spark a conversation. To make people think. Nothing more, nothing less,” he said.

Without differing opinions, there would be no progress in society. “If dissenting opinions were not allowed, we would still be riding horses to this day,” he said, adding that anyone who refuses to encourage discussion is not seeking the truth, but is only pursuing their own ideas.
