Actor Jānis Skanis becomes a puppet master and is looking for new friends in the music video for the song “Nevaru įvartāls” by the group “Audiokvartāls”.
“The song is about longing for people close to us, about those feelings that overwhelm us when we are waiting for a special meeting. For hope. About friendship,” says the band’s soloist Ivars Ozoliņš. The video tells about a man who spends his whole life doing what he loves, and in his old age still manages to find small moments of happiness to be happy about. By sharing and showing this process to others, he is drawn into a parallel world where new friendships are born.
The meeting of the group members with the actor took place after almost 20 years – all three members of the “Audiokvartāls” group and the actor Jānis Skanis have participated in theater performances together. The brothers Ivars and Arnis Ozoliņi were part of the Kračita family in the National Theater play “Siakulis” more than 15 years ago, while Māris Skrodis played Rudi last year and together with Jānis Skani took part in the performance “Skroderdienas Silmachis”. That’s why the guys say that you shouldn’t stop waiting and hoping, because you don’t know where life’s twists and turns will take you and when the special meetings they sing about in the song will happen.
