“The Wire” star dies at 60
Lance Reddick is dead. The ‘The Wire’ and ‘John Wick’ character mime has reportedly passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60.
Mourning for Lance Reddick: According to US media, the actor known from series and blockbusters died last Friday (March 16) at the age of 60. First, “TMZ” had reported about the death of the star, “Variety” later got the sad news from Reddick’s spokesman. Accordingly, it was a natural death, but the exact circumstances were not communicated.
Character mime Reddick was in demand both in series and in major Hollywood productions. Among other things, he took part in long-running TV productions such as “The Wire”, “Fringe” or “Bosch”. He was also seen as a constant in all parts of the “John Wick” film series – including in the fourth installment of the action franchise, which will be released in cinemas on March 23rd.
In show business from the early 90s
Reddick made his debut in 1990 in the television series “Against the Law”, and in 1998 he appeared in a Hollywood film for the first time – “Great Expectations” with Ethan Hawke (52) and Gwyneth Paltrow (50). The actor also had a leading role in the recently released “Resident Evil” series.
