Even stars are not spared from travel problems.
Just ask Ethan Hawke, who ended up traveling to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on a Greyhound bus after flights were canceled.
The actor told People that he had to turn around to get to the premiere of his new film, “Wildcat.”
“Three flights were canceled and then I thought, ‘I’m not going to miss this because of some airport,'” he said. “So I went to the Port Authority and got on the bus.”
It sounds like Hawke, who did the hike with his wife and producing partner, had his travel time well spent.
“I was just reading my book and ducking out the back and praying we would make it,” Hawke added that no one really noticed him until they made it through customs.
Regarding his fellow passengers’ reaction to the presence of a celebrity on board, Hawke quipped: “Man, nobody cares about anyone else on the bus.”
