Dean Stockwell, known from “Quantum Leap”, “Air Force One”, “Blue Velvet” and many other movies and series, turned 85 years old.

BBC gets confirmation from representatives of the American actor that he fell asleep peacefully at home on Sunday.
Best known is Stockwell from his five seasons in the sci-fi series “Quantum Leap”. For this effort, he won the Golde Globe Trophy in 1990. Two years later, he was honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
There, fans have now started laying flowers after it became known that the 85-year-old has now passed away.
