The actor, best known for his role as Mr. Big in “Sex and the City”, denies the allegations of sexual abuse that took place in 2004 and 2015.
Following the news that there will be a reunion with the character in the new season of “Sex and the City”, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) contacted by two separate women who say that the media coverage triggered bad memories and who wanted to tell their stories.
The two women do not know each other, and contacted the newspaper every few months, writes THR.
11 years between events
The women, who are now 31 and 40 years old, are both said to have been sexually abused by the actor, they claim. The first incident is said to have taken place in Los Angeles in 2004 and the second in New York in 2015.
The woman in the first incident was 22 years old when the incident allegedly happened to the 49-year-old actor.
In the second, the woman was 25 years old and Noth 60 years old.
Both accuse the actor of sex without consent. In both cases, the abuse is said to have taken place in apartments owned by Chris Noth.
Noth himself denies the allegations in a statement to the newspaper.
– The accusations against me, by people I met many years ago, are false. These stories could have been 30 years or 30 days old – but no always means no – and there is a line I have not crossed. The incidents were with consent, he writes, and adds that it is difficult not to question the time of the accusations.
