Beyond his excellent acting skills, Cranston has shown a special sensitivity for sustainable architecture. His residence in Ventura, on the Californian coast, completed in 2013, was a project that has long matured for five years to achieve LEED Platinum certification and an energy neutral balance, which means that the house produces as much energy as it consumes. Equipped with solar panels and a water recycling system, it is one of the most ecological homes in the area.
When he put it up for sale for $ 5 million (€ 4.2 million), Bryan Cranston declared: “I put my heart, my soul, sweat and often tears into it. It is beautiful to create something with tremendous pride and effort, and letting go of it by letting other people take you to a new level of appreciation. ” Knowing that the enigmatic Heisenberg lived under its roof is also a plus.
