The actor Antonio Resines, with a long professional career in film, theater and television, will promote Tenerife as an “essential” tourist destination.
This was announced on Tuesday by the Island Council, which added that the actor is already on the island to record an audiovisual piece about the main attractions of Tenerife as a promotional action in the national market.
The recording began on Monday and will continue until Thursday through the Anaga Rural Park, La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz, La Laguna, Santa Cruz, the south of the island (Los Cristianos, Puerto Colón), the Teide National Park and the whale watching area.
Antonio Resines will be showing in the piece the charms of the island, including its heritage, gastronomy and wines, as well as its culture, adds the Cabildo.
The video will have visibility during the coming months through social networks. Through campaigns on networks such as Facebook and with the support of other popular figures, the initiative, according to the Cabildo, will achieve “a high impact”, with an estimated number of more than 300,000 video reproductions.
