Actor Angus Cloud (25) has died, the family confirms in a statement ET. He had one of the main roles in seasons one and two of the popular TV series “Euphoria” on HBO. There he played drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill.
– It is with a heavy heart that today we had to say goodbye to a wonderful person. As an artist, friend, brother and son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways, says the family’s statement.
The family says that Cloud has previously been open about challenges with his own mental health and that he accompanied his father to the grave last week.
– The only consolation we have is knowing that Angus is now reunited with his father, who was his best friend, the statement says.

The family says they hope his passing can be a reminder to others that they don’t have to fight alone.
– We hope that the world will remember him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone, they write.
“Euphoria” director Sam Levinson pays tribute to Cloud in another statement Deadline.
– There was no one like Angus. He was far too special, far too talented and far too young to leave us so early. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I will always do that, says Levinson.
