Actor Angus Cloud, known for his role as Fesco in the TV series Euphoria, has died at the age of 25 in Auckland. This was reported by TMZ with reference to the artist’s family.
Cloud’s relatives did not disclose the cause of his death. However, they expressed the hope that his departure would be “a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight alone with themselves in silence.”
The actor’s family also noted that he “has been open about his mental health struggles.” “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must say goodbye to an incredible person today,” Cloud’s relatives said.
“As an artist, friend, brother and son, Angus has been special to all of us in so many ways. Last week, he buried his father and grieved this loss. Our only consolation is knowing that Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was also his best friend,” they added.
Cloud’s loved ones asked for seclusion to deal with “this devastating loss”. “We hope the world will remember him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone,” they said.
Angus Cloud was born on May 11, 1998 in Auckland, USA. He graduated from the local art school, where he studied in the same class with another Euphoria star, Zendaya. The series’ casting director spotted Cloud when he was working at a restaurant in New York. Euphoria was Cloud’s debut film project.
Following the show’s success, he also appeared in North Hollywood and The Line, as well as several music videos, including the video for the track “Cigarrettes” by rapper Juice Wrld. The actor was supposed to play in several more projects, for example, the thriller Your Lucky Day by Dan Brown.
