The 43-year-old actor was found dead in his apartment

Actor Angel Genov died under unclear circumstances in London. This was confirmed for NOVA by our ambassador to the British capital – Marin Raykov.

The 43-year-old actor was found dead in his London apartment about a week ago. Genov did not answer his phone for two days, which caused his friends to break down the door of the apartment where the actor lived.

A thorough medical analysis of the body is expected to be performed on Monday to determine the cause of Angel Genov’s death, our ambassador to London – Marin Raykov, told NOVA.

Angel Genov is the son of famous actors – Nelly Monedzhikova, known from the NOVA series “All inclusive” and Antoniy Genov (1950 – 2006), who we will remember with the role of Panayot Volov in the film “Notes on the Bulgarian Uprisings”.

Genov graduated from NATFA “Kr. Sarafov” in 2002 in the class of Prof. Nadezhda Seykova, majoring in “Acting for Drama Theater”. Since 2009 he has been in the troupe of the Bulgarian Army Theater. He is the winner of the Icarus Award.
