He was found dead in his apartment in the British capital

The 43-year-old actor Angel Genov was found dead in his apartment in London, announced “Slaveykov Square”. The news was confirmed by the Bulgarian ambassador to the British capital Marin Raykov.

Genov’s death was established about a week ago. After not answering his phone for two days, his friends called the police and broke down the door of his apartment, where they found Angel’s body.

“His mother is here at the moment, we are giving her full assistance,” said Ambassador Raykov.

The diplomat explained that a thorough medical examination of the body would be performed on Monday to determine the cause of his death.

Angel Genov is the son of famous actors – Nelly Monedzhikova and Anthony Genov (1950-2006). He was born on January 26, 1978, graduated from NATFA “Krastyu Sarafov” in the class of Nadezhda Seykova. He played on the stage of the Bulgarian Army Theater while leaving for London to enter the MetFilm School. He also attended the International Summer Theater School in Moscow under the artistic direction of Alexander Kalyagin.
