Actor Alec Baldwin after fatal shooting incident on film set: “I didn’t pull the trigger”

The victim, director of photography Halyna Hutchins, was 42. Director Joel Souza (48) was also injured in the shot. Apparently the gun used on the set, a Colt .45, had gone off by accident.

Baldwin will have to appear in court. He gave a lengthy interview to George Stephanopoulos of ABC News. “I didn’t pull the trigger,” he says. “Apparently someone put a real bullet in the gun, a bullet that shouldn’t have even been on set. Someone is responsible for this. I don’t know who it is, but it wasn’t me,” Baldwin (63) repeats.
