RADARDEPOK.COM, Anticipating the transition season which is prone to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), the Service Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of Kalimulya Health Center conducted fogging to the community in RW11, Kalibaru Village, Cilodong District.
Fogging is believed to be still a solution in eradicating mosquito breeding. Therefore, the residents there routinely do it.
“This activity is carried out once a month, even if the residents need fogging, we will immediately do it,” said Kalibaru Village Head, Indra Cahyadi.
That way, the Kelurahan and cadres invite residents to continue to maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) and to prevent DHF by draining, closing and burying. “Maintaining cleanliness is important so that mosquitoes cannot breed,” he said.
The environmental manager has also socialized to local residents several times to always carry out the 1 house 1 larva monitoring movement (G1R1J)
“To prevent dengue fever, the cadres also routinely carry out regular jumantic checks,” Indra concluded.
