About twenty activists invaded the roundabout in the Les Mangles d’Acajou area in Le Lamentin and put up posters and placards in front of the headquarters of the Bernard Hayot Group. An action carried out this Saturday, June 18, 2022 to demand “justice for the poisoned people of Martinique” and the “declassification of the Chlordecone files”.
Since 10:13 a.m. this Saturday morning, RVN activists carry out symbolic action. They deployed banners and posters in the area bordering the headquarters of GBH (Bernard Hayot Group) in Le Lamentin.
The demonstrators distribute leaflets to motorists and denounce the “dismissal envisaged” in the chlordecone file.
The judges in charge of this file, informed the civil parties and the public prosecutor’s office at the end of last March of their intention to close this judicial investigation and probably to dismiss the case.
Decision contested by these demonstrators. In their leaflet distributed this Saturday morning, they demand the declassification of Clordecone files and ask several questions:
Yves Hayot is dead, so who benefits from the crime? Nicolas Marrault des Grottes CEO of Banamart bought Sicabam, why isn’t he worried. Henry Ernoult, former director who bought the patent for chlordecone to manufacture the pesticide ‘Curlonne’ currently holds the position of director of the Casino Batelière.
