Activists broke into Ekro calf slaughterhouse in Apeldoorn on Sunday evening, reports Omroep Gelderland. They would have chained themselves there. It is not yet clear how the group entered.
The police are present with at least five units at the calf slaughterhouse on the Laan van Malkenschoten in Apeldoorn. Three buses of the Mobile Unit (ME) have also arrived. The group of activists is estimated at about 50 people. It is not yet clear why they entered.
