Activision already knows why CoD: Vanguard doesn’t sell

Call of Duty: Vanguard did not meet Activision’s expectations. You may have read this sentence before. The company newly revealed why last year’s episode did not sell so well.

“Although Call of Duty remains one of the most successful franchises of all time, our premium game of 2021 did not live up to our expectations, which we believe is primarily our own fault.” admits the publisher in the financial report.

Are the players overtaken by World War II? I personally don’t think so. I see the above as the main problem innovations that Call of Duty has long lacked.
