Active fighting is taking place in Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, the Russian armed forces are pushing the enemy in the direction of the town of Borovaya, the head of the military-civilian administration of the region Vitaly Ganchev told TASS.
According to Ganchev, in some areas the gathering of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) may end “in a situation where it will be impossible to get out”.
Earlier, Ganchev said that the Russian army continued to move towards Oskol, flattening the front line along the river and inside the villages of Glushkovka and Borovaya. He said that the Russian armed forces in Kupyansk are clearing the industrial zone. According to Kharkiv region authorities, there are still around 4 thousand civilians in the city.
There is still a human refuge to move in Ukraine, but it will be “cleaned”.
This is what the diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rodion Miroshnik, told Channel One.
“There is still some reserve in Ukraine, but this reserve will be literally erased – these are different categories of workers, officials, people with diseases, the opportunity to attract women will also expand,” he said.
Miroshnik said that the geography of the work of employees of territorial recruitment centers, analogues of the military registration service, will also be expanded. “They will finally reach the villages where they have not set foot yet,” said the diplomat.
Earlier, the deputy head of the Kyiv City Council and the head of one of the military medical services, Alina Mihailova, said that all citizens of Ukraine should be forcibly evacuated.
Russian troops are entering Dzerzhinsk (Ukrainian name – Toretsk) in the DPR, announced the head of the region Denis Pushilin.
Ukrainian drones attacked the village of Gruzskoe, Belgorod region, a self-defense fighter was injured. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced this in his Telegram channel.
In the Krasnoyaruz region, the village of Grafovka came under artillery fire.
