Active COVID-19 cases down to 50 – Suriname Herald

There is a noticeable drop in the number of active COVID-19 cases. The number is now at fifty. Of the 142 people who were tested, six received a positive result, of which five in Paramaribo and one in Wanica.

At the moment 21 people are admitted to the different hospitals and five to the Intensive Care Unit. Twelve patients have been declared cured in the past 24 hours.

Furthermore, 31 people are in isolation because they have tested positive and 185 others are in quarantine. 109 people have died since the outbreak of the virus.
