Active cases and infections are decreasing in Galicia, which does not record any deaths

The Servizo Galego de Saúde (Sergas) reported this Saturday a decrease in active infections to 1,885 (33 fewer), as well as new infections, 126 (34 fewer than this Friday). On the other hand, hospitalized patients with Covid increased slightly to 176 (+1).

As for deaths, the data published this Saturday by Sanidade – updated at 18:00 on Friday – does not reflect any deaths in the last few hours, so the number of deaths remains at 3,961.

In terms of active cases, by health areas, Ourense-Verín-O Barco de Valdeorras continues to lead with 470 (-2). A Coruña-Cee follows, but by far, with 307 total cases (+9).

After them, that of Vigo, with 285 (-3); that of Santiago-Barbanza, which numbered 284 (-10); that of Lugo-A Mariña-Monforte, with 241 (-5); that of Ferrol, with 153 (-12); and that of Pontevedra-O Salnés, with 143 (-2).

All this on a day in which Sergas notifies 125 new covid-19 infections, 34 fewer. 26 of them correspond to the area of ​​Ourense and another 26 to A Coruña, after which there are Vigo (25), Santiago (13), Lugo (13), Pontevedra (12) and Ferrol (11).

As for hospital pressure, it has increased slightly in the last few hours to 176 hospitalized with covid in all of Galicia, one more. Specifically, there are 162 patients on the floor (-1) and the remaining 14 are in intensive care (+2).

There are three areas in which hospitalizations are decreasing. They are that of Ferrol, with 13 admitted (-2); that of Santiago, with 29 (-2); and that of Vigo, with 13 (-2). Instead, they increase in the Ourense area, up to 34 (+1); that of A Coruña, with 50 (+3); that of Pontevedra, with 20 (+1); and that of Lugo, with 17 (+2).
