We reported that congstar, which belongs to Telekom, wanted to start activating RCS options for customers from the end of March. RCS stands for Rich Communication Services and describes the possibility of using the messaging service on Android no longer only for SMS and MMS, but also voice chats, group chats, sending and reading status, location messages and sending photos and videos via these messengers to be allowed to send, without any additional costs. But what about the telecommunications provider O2 with the full support of RCS? You don’t let yourself be carried away to an exact date like with congstar. After all, when asked, it was announced that it could probably be so far at the end of Q2 2021. Let’s see if what happens at O2 in June.
