Further promote a culture of family friendliness – Diversity of all family constellations in focus
The brochure presents measures that the TU Dresden (TUD) wants to use to further promote the culture of family friendliness. A special focus of the new action program is on the Strengthening the role of fathers and the possibility of equal assumption of family responsibilities.
The new action programme is also intended to Diversity of all family constellations recognized and an even broader awareness of the issue of family friendliness should be created within the university. It should also be anchored even more firmly in the management culture.
The action program is the result of an external re-audit process that TUD underwent and successfully completed in autumn 2023. TUD has thus been certified as a “family-friendly university” for the sixth time in a row since 2007: “TU Dresden is one of the best family-friendly universities in Germany,” emphasizes auditor Dr. Elisabeth Mantl, who has been accompanying TUD for many years.
