The car kept moving even with flat tires from studded tape
Race in Burgas. A jeep driver hit 6 cars and a bus, crossed a police lane with spikes and with flat tires reached the village of Ravadinovo, where he escaped from the police.
Around 8:00 p.m., a report was received about an incident in which a young man tried to grab a mobile phone from a girl in the area of the pedestrian path on “Hristo Botev” and “Macedonia” streets in Burgas. Meanwhile, another report was received about a dark jeep parked incorrectly on the footpath on both streets, obstructing traffic and creating conditions for a traffic accident.
Two police patrols went to the intersection. Noticing them, the man got into the vehicle and at high speed, disobeying the police orders, drove off along “Hristo Botev” Blvd. in the direction of the railway station – Burgas. The jeep passed through “Ivan Vazov” Blvd., “Sportna” Blvd., “Todor Aleksandrov” Blvd. and the “Poda” area in the direction of Sozopol, hitting a total of five cars and a bus from the city transport in which there were passengers. No citizens were injured in the incident.
Arriving at the Sozopol junction, the jeep passed through the spike strip set up by a police team, and with flat tires continued to move in the direction of the village of Ravadinovo. He stopped there, bumping into a car with Stara Zagorje registration parked on “Stara Planina” Street.
The driver ran away from the vehicle and is currently being searched for by police officers with dogs. Ammunition and a knife were found in the jeep.
