In November 2020, artist Helen Burr painted a tribute to singer Arno on a side wall of the Ostend City Hall. The mural fits into the street art festival The Crystal Ship and is a tribute to the singer.
Last night vandals daubed the artwork. In a statement, the vandalism was claimed by the action group ‘De Stoete Ostendenoare’. He accuses Arno of allowing himself to be honored too much by the alleged bodies. Last year, the activists already put up a poster on the same mural.
