Tanja, then 18, disappeared in August 1993 during an introduction week at Maastricht University. Years of investigation and various searches have never clarified the disappearance case. With a view to within a year tip money of one million euros last month – on Groen’s birthday – De Vries launched a fundraising campaign and tip line.

The stake of one million is high, but according to De Vries necessary to bring the truth to light.
