Sierksdorf. From August 22nd to 25th, the new barefoot cinema will take place on the fine sandy beach of Sierksdorf. Under the motto “Barefoot & Blockbusters”, new films will be shown here in a beautiful open-air setting and with a sea view.
The Kraushaar Strandkino premieres in August
On four evenings in August, the Kraushaar beach cinema invites you to a very special experience. A temporary barefoot cinema will be set up on the beach in Sierksdorf (near Fischerplatz). Uncomplicated and cozy – that’s what the beach cinema feels like. Deck chairs – surrounded by birch trunks with fairy lights hanging between them – invite you to find your favorite spot. If you want, you can also bring your own blanket and make yourself comfortable in the still warm sand. From 7 p.m., guests of the Kraushaar beach cinema can stock up on small snacks that are offered on site and secure one of the 300 wireless headphones. The film always starts promptly at dusk; this is scheduled to be at 8.30 p.m., but depending on the day’s lighting conditions, the film start may be slightly delayed. Entry to the beach cinema costs ten euros per person; when the cinema is over, you get five euros back when you return the headphones. Tickets are available at the box office.
The Kraushaar beach cinema takes place on Sierksdorf beach (Am Strande, corner of Bergweg at Fischerplatz). Parking is available free of charge in the Sierksdorf public car park on Professor-Haas-Straße and alternatively (for a fee) in the Altonaer Straße car park.
