« The crisis in Gaza is getting worse every day. The violence we are witnessing after a year of conflict is affecting civilians, aid workers, hospitals, schools and shelters. All parties must do everything in their power to ensure respect for international humanitarian law “, said Natalia Anguera, Action Against Hunger Operations Manager in the Middle East.

Action Against Hunger condemns the fact that civilians, humanitarian and health workers, as well as essential civilian infrastructure, continue to be targeted and strongly recalls the need for an immediate and lasting ceasefire.

Action Against Hunger has worked in the occupied Palestinian territories since 2002 and in the Gaza Strip since 2005. Since October 2023, our staff have responded to the current crisis by providing more than 1.1 million people with food, water, sanitation, hygiene and nutrition interventions.
